Clinical/Physician Strategists

  • Applies change management skills including assessments and analysis for organizational adoption including: strategic assessment, stakeholder analysis, and project risk assessment, quality of care, patient safety, workflow analysis, and communication planning.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to drive clinical adoption and client satisfaction.
  • Articulates the benefits of clinical adoption and advises on best practices.
  • Facilitates the analysis of current state, future state, and gap analysis.
  • Articulates the impact of Cerner solutions on future state workflow, role and venue.
  • Facilitates change management initiatives.
  • Analyzes work-flow to identify opportunities for sales of new services on assigned projects.
  • Develops and executes various client survey tools, data collection approaches, and brainstorming with other consultants and clients on improvement opportunities and solutions.
  • Assists client and Cerner team to plan, coordinate, implement and measure effectiveness of Cerner’s Transformation methodology through clear, tactical goals and objectives, and baseline/benchmarking plans.
  • Interacts with client executives to create the level of desired business results.
  • Plans and coordinates clinical adoption activities with other Cerner team members and resources during the engagements.
  • Influences, trains, and educates other Cerner associates on the tools and techniques related to Transformation realization planning and deployment.
  • Monitors, develops, and grows clinical subject matter expertise.
  • Understands Cerner systems and the impact on client’s future state workflow.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of operational aspects of healthcare delivery system/organization.
  • Promotes clinical and business process improvement opportunities, utilizing metrics and other process improvement tools.
  • Coaches clients and other Cerner associates in Clinical Adoption Methodology and tools.
  • Builds professional relationships both inside Cerner and with clients.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Applies Cerner’s consulting methodology and guides continued client optimization.
  • Manages client relationships to promote future enhancement of Cerner solutions.
  • Promotes benefit planning and metric monitoring processes.
  • Mentors other Cerner associates in their professional development.
